As the demand for clean energy increases, and photovoltaic (PV) technology becomes more efficient, opportunities are emerging in this rapidly growing sector. Our solar lawyers have a deep understanding of the sector, having advised on over 300 commercial solar projects.

We draw on the knowledge of legal experts from across the firm to deliver expert guidance to clients throughout the project lifecycle – from real estate and planning through construction issues to financing and regulatory matters.

We also advise clients on investment in – and acquisition of – solar portfolios. Our expertise in renewable energy deals is nationally recognised and we were named Advisory Firm of the Year at the New Energy and Cleantech Awards 2015.

Our solar lawyers are active in shaping the future of the sector. Using our wider energy expertise, we have been instrumental in helping the sector to overcome regulatory challenges in the UK. Our lawyers are also members of key industry bodies, such as the Renewable Energy Association, RenewableUK and Scottish Renewables.
