Kelly is a director in the firm's construction and engineering team. She advises clients on a wide range of energy and infrastructure projects, including advising on solar, wave, tidal, wind, battery storage and nuclear matters.

Kelly has advised on a significant number of complex multi-contract project finance matters and has particular experience in advising on “first of a kind” projects. She is dual-qualified and therefore is able to practice throughout England and Wales and Scotland.

  • Advising MeyGen in connection with its ground breaking, award winning tidal energy project in Pentland Firth, Scotland, including advising on procurement structure and the drafting/negotiation of a number of key packages, including electrical infrastructure and cable supply.
  • Advising in connection with a significant new nuclear build project.
  • Advising Wave Hub in connection with the exploitation and maintenance of its facilities for the testing of wave power technologies.
  • Advising Foresight on the construction aspects (EPC and O&M and associated ancillary documents) of the £110 million CHP project in Widnes, Merseyside.
  • Advising various developers, funders and contractors (including Temporis and Marubeni) on various offshore and onshore wind projects in the UK (both England and Scotland).
  • Advising New Earth Solutions as preferred bidder for the £100 million waste PPP scheme involving MBT and ATT (gasification) technologies
  • Advising various public sector authorities on various energy and waste management projects, including Gwynedd County Council and Devon County Council.
